I take it you mean “how can the selfie camera be used”? There’s a handy little button on the lower left side of the camera app user interface that switches which camera to use (back or front). Technically you could use the back camera to take selfies too, I suppose - just tell your friend that they need to have good finger coordination to push the shutter button in that case
