I bought the very popular Edimax EW-7811Un 150Mbps 11n Wi-Fi USB Adapter, and the WI-FI settings found it. When I tried to connect, it stated “activation of network connection failed”. It did come with one mini CD, but I do not understand what to do with strange files in the Linux folder. It seems very confusing and not professional. There is no auto run installer button that works.
What’s the simplest setup? If you got screenshots, it may help too.
My HP netbook with PureOS does not have WiFi show. The Bluetooth shows, and it did not work for my mouse. Ubuntu works with my Bluetooth mouse and WiFi.
