Since I still don’t have mine I’ve since tried signal-desktop on the pinephone pro with phosh. Messaging and video doesn’t work but calling does, though for me seems for voice calls only calling in to the phone works, not out from the phone. In fact even the built-in camera app doesn’t function at all (unless you install somebody else’s build), so no surprise there.
While I’m waiting I’d like to try on a “real” desktop (amd64 not ARM) has anybody here tried signal for video on some other linux? Debian or ubuntu maybe?
