is it possible to install Skype or use Skype with video on Librem 5?

Now, before anyone gets their pitchfork or starts piling firewood under a stake - let’s assume OG can’t use an alternative and that there is a need for this…
There are a few previous threads with info on this as some have tried to dirty their devices with Skype. It seems it’s nowadays offered for linux as snapcraft app (Install Skype on Debian using the Snap Store | Snapcraft) which you can try. I didn’t see official .deb packages available. As an alternative, there seems to be browser based online version too: Make video calls right from your browser | Skype but I have no idea if either one of these works. The flathub package is not official but the risk is yours to take.
And as for video, I don’t think L5’s internal cameras currently are available for apps (or has anyone managed that?) but you can connect an external webcam to the usb, if you’re desperate.
