[SOLVED] Last update broke charging?

Hello,

Has anyone else encountered weird charging behaviour after the last update?
I have enabled experimental updates and after the last update the original changing cable with the original power brick, stopped charging the phone, even with the phone powered off.
It stops and starts charging really fast, I think.
I tried everything: switching the ends of the cable, switching the orientation of the cable when inserted (even tho I did not have to do this in the past), restarting the phone and amarok’s advice but nothing worked.
Oddly enough I can use a lower quality 3rd party cable I have around connected to a power bank.

EDIT: The original L5 cable and power brick does charge other devices without any issues.

[UPDATE] Software update did not break charging.
After some more testing it turns out that the charging cable’s ends wore too… wide, the cable has been used too many times and did not fit snugly inside the charging port of the phone.
I used my fingers and teeth to squish it back into shape and now everything works. : D
