Source Purism website down

Hi
I regularly visit: https://source.puri.sm/groups/pureos/-/milestones? to be informed about Crimson updates but, since yesterday (13th July 2025) website is down!
Just curious to know if someone knows why!
Thank you

Down for me too.

Presumably an unplanned outage / some kind of technical problem. As it’s not yet the working week in some parts of the world, or only just the start of the working week in others, I expect you will have to wait some more hours before the site comes back.

You might want to subscribe to the pureos-changes mailing list using: Available lists - Purism Mailing Lists and that web site seems to be working right now i.e. must be on a different web server.

The thread has wrong tags, it’s not related to L5, but to infrastructure.

Thank you for clarification, Ick
I tried to modify category but there isn’t “infrastructure” section
Please could you specify me where I can find it?
Thank you

This happens often when the bot traffic is too high (usually it comes back within 2 minutes). In this particular instance the reverse proxy (haproxy) had to be restarted. Recently we have made the anubis exception (some requests were not forwarded through anubis) stricter and since this change, gitlab instance seems to be more responsive in general. But this is an ongoing challenge and when bots become smarter and can bypass anubis, we might have to respond differently soon.
