Spec's on products

I have had quite a around the site and following the discussion on the forum of the specifications of your products. Could you perhaps on the main page of each product include a little list of the external plugs types used or perhaps some text lines pointing at the ports in the photo? Going into the ‘Compare’ part of the page I still couldn’t work out accurately is there a RJ45 ethernet plug for sure. The statement is no USB adapter required. I do like the idea of a proper aluminium frame and most of the rest of the spec’s look pretty standard. One question I am trying to resolve and this applies to any laptop how does a 2 core cpu be an i7?

Just following the discussions on the phone is the companies aim to create a mid market specification for the phone, and move from there with more models when the time comes? One other point of interest, is there a decent frame round the edge of the phone screen. Of 2 curved screen phones in my family there are 2 broken curved screens. Great to have edge whatever s, but if they break they are just an annoyance. Here again a list out in the open of about what specifications were being aimed at, would be nice.

Thanks for putting up with an old buddy waffling on.

There isn’t:

Notice the comma between “No” and “USB adapter required”.

We will have full specs later, they will be published, of course.

I have just come into the laptop specs and wondered why there was no RJ45 embedded slot.

Is it because the laptop is too thin to have one ?
I really don’t understand why RJ45 are sometimes absent from some laptops. Wifi isn’t reliable at all. It is erractic, slow and unsecure. It is even worse when you have optic fiber because you are limited to a damn slow connexion not even talking of the connexion problems.

I can’t understand why there are no RJ45 on some mainstream laptops but in a supposedly secure one, that choice is even less understandable.

I’d really like an answer concerning the choice of not having an RJ45 plug on any laptop, I’m a bit confused on the purism philosophy here…
