Sigh, i thought i was clever but you are right guru. I thought suspend was reactivate cause of the script but - yes you may have a point and this have to used wise with some kernel and clock waked up signals.
However Günther just use that kernel messages to update Gnome Clock for a wake up to push some Alarm for the bell. So its possible. And i hope we see this improvement with the crimson update.
If you need it in your script - and i just thought that cron Jobs use it too. - You could control your power consumption too with this.
I do not have this, i just use my phone or take it offline/power off if i do not need it. But if you need to be connected 24/7 and wake up by a call or Internet event you have to get your phone able to receive messages. Why not load your power over night?

@dos why the L5 eat too much power even under suspend mode?
My L5 can not survive with 70% left all night, all hks enabled.
I think that 25% on suspend all night-12-hrs it OK due to L5 ADN, but 70% is critical.
