Once again thank you all for your responces.
Privacy2 you hit it on the head.
I had been in the shortcuts section for the general preferences and was looking there but had not looked at the one in the terminal which you all call gnome Terminal.
So just looked and sure enough you where right :smiley:.
Have changed it to ctrl++ now all all is well.
Now I can add a user.

A quick extra questian for you all, is there a youtuber any of you all recomend for me to learn more about pureOS as I have noticed that the Unbuntu vids don’t match this OS ?

I don’t use PureOS. I also don’t watch Linux youtubers so I’m not really a good source for that either.

However, PureOS is a subset of Debian with a specific configuration (e.g. includes apparmor). In terms of using the OS, any videos that help you with the default Desktop Environment (which is GNOME) and the Debian OS package tools (e.g. apt) should be sufficient. You will have an easier time finding such info for Debian (and/or Ubuntu) than you will for PureOS.
