Hi all – I’m a long-time lurker, first time posting, and overall a very happy with my Librem 13. It’s a beautiful, well-built machine and has replaced my Macbook for nearly everything.
One little issue I experience fairly often occurs while selecting text via click-and-drag. To select some text I’ll usually click with one finger and drag with another. Most of the time this works as expected but sometimes the pointer will become unresponsive and I’ll need to release the click and try again.
After some experimentation, I’ve found this occurs most often when I lift the dragging finger from the touchpad and replace it. I haven’t experienced this issue if the dragging finger remains in contact with the touchpad the entire time.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a known fix?
I wouldn’t suspect a problem with the hardware – the touchpad responds as expected otherwise.
And my machine is a Librem 13, I think v3?, running PureOS,. uname -a shows: Linux gerty 4.17.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.17.8-1 (2018-07-20) x86_64 GNU/Linux
