I think I remember a tool being made by Stallman that finds any non-free software but I can’t remember the name and can’t find the tool. Anyone here know the name of it? I just want to make sure everything is good with my computers.

I believe you are thinking of vrms. As far as I know, though, it will only detect software installed through the package manager though. I don’t think it will work for detecting AppImages or Flatpaks
