Tricks to Make Ubuntu Apps Run On PureOS?

I have an app that is designed to run on Ubuntu. It works in a Solus VM. It doesn’t work in PureOS.

This app needs full access to all USBs to make it useful. I couldn’t get it to see all USBs in the Boxes VM.

Any other tricks to get it to work on the root PureOS?
