Oh yeah. They used that when I went to the UK. It’s to make sure you match your passport picture. At least, that’s as much as I know it’s for.

Right. I don’t like the fact that the photo is added to a database, though. Another data-breach attack vector.

I do like how the TSA points out it doesn’t need a database to work and they don’t store your pictures locally… but they do send the pictures to DHS even though that’s not needed…
