Upgrade from amber, grub-efi / desktop-base hangs

Librem 15 ver. 3 tpm

Upgrading from Amber with the directions from Download PureOS and it seems to hang installing desktop-base / grub-efi

Setting up desktop-base (11.0.3) …
grub-efi* packages found, using 16/9 as default grub background ratio

Then hangs indefinitely. I’m not seeing any other errors.

You can try a fresh installation.

Probably some dektop- or graphics-related things got messed up for your current login session. Try pressing ctrl+alt+F3 or similar to get a fresh login prompt, then login there and try to continue what you were doing.
