Use the postprocess script to move each photo automatically at the time that it is taken?
Use a cron job to move photos periodically?
This issue has been raised previously in this forum and hence a search should locate earlier useful discussion.
You will of course have to ensure first that the µSD card mounts automatically, which you would often do via /etc/fstab (although in theory whatever script hackery you set up could mount the card the first time the card is needed).
It would be great if one could configure the camera application as to where specifically it saves photos, so that photos can be saved automatically and directly to µSD card. okay thanks. its taken a while for it to get this full. i was able to select the photos folder and click move to sd card. its doing that now. how do i then batch delete the photos in the photos folder? oh i see its actually moving them out of the folder. this seems like an okay solution and then i dont have to mess with terminal which im a novice with.
