Secure Boot is not used, therefore Shim is not used either.

As Frankly says, this shouldn’t be an issue for anyone running Purism hardware. (It also only affects computers running distros that can operate under Secure Boot e.g. Debian, Ubuntu.) It also shouldn’t be an issue for anyone with an ARM CPU.

As such, “most Linux systems” might be an exaggeration in this forum.
