When upgrading waydroid to the newest version. The error code is (1).

There’s no such package in PureOS, so you should probably complain to whoever made that package.

Fixed by running: curl -s https://repo.waydro.id | sudo bash
Afterwards, resinstall with: sudo apt install waydroid -y
P.S. The Waydroid package should be uninstalled ahead of time.

You know that you should never pipe output of curl, wget or the like directly into bash or another shell (and particularly not with a shell running as root)?
It may be OK in this case. It may be that the package could compromise your computer anyway. But it’s a bad habit to get into.
