Website annotation plugin?

Hello Purism Community,
I have an issue. I like to annotate websites—primarily academic ones.

Are there any good FLOSS/Open Source/Free Software browser extensions for annotating websites? Preferably, something that functions well within Firefox and/or Firefox-based browsers.

Although any FLOSS web browser is alright.

Paid subscriptions are 100% fine but it does have to be Free and Open Source Software.

I love Zotero, I did not realize they include on-page annotations.

This looks immensely interesting:

I will look more into the features they offer—I use them frequently for general citation management and bookmarking.
