What is the icon format?

It doesn’t matter what I want to do, it doesn’t matter at all! I need an icon in the same style as Nerd Fonts, but BIGGER, the same site so I can copy with the text editor, that’s all I need!

Thanks for your answer.

I will try your recommendation, but I need a icon in the Nerd Fonts style, as for Awesome, I gave this example to show how I would like to copy the icon from the site.

Thank you for your recommendation. I agree that this is not a very good icon for “ethernet” or as you say “RJ45”, I like the Nerd Fonts style. As for creating your style, it’s not what I’m looking for, I need a site whose video examples I’ve shown so I can easily copy and paste into a text editor. Maybe I’ll give up on this idea if it’s so problematic…

So you mean something like (200‌% direct from the web site you linked to, hence picking up their colour scheme):

octopus

Or 200pt from HTML that I just put together (hence black-and-white because I couldn’t be bothered):

octopus2

“LARGER” is kind of non-specific.

Maybe more accurately, no one understands what you are doing.

The web site even gives you some HTML that you could use in order to make the octopus larger. But, since you haven’t said what you are doing, I have no idea whether HTML / a web page is even what you want.

It does matter. Depending on which text editor you are using, you may be severely limited in what can be achieved.

vi? gedit? gnome-text-editor? With a GUI text editor like the latter two, you will only be able to have one size of character. So if you want to make the octopus bigger, you can only achieve that by making every character bigger, which may be completely unviable - whereas with something LibreOffice Writer (.odt file) or anything HTML, you have greater flexibility about font size.

Now if you insist on sticking with a pure text editor, it may be possible to change the design of the character (i.e. to change the underlying font) to make it relatively larger but that is beyond my pay grade.
