The screen of my Librem 5 switches recently regularly automatically on. Both when on power and when not. I’m not sure if the screen sometimes switches off again or not.
This happens also when no applications are running at all. The screen is not switched on because of notifications.
Currently, I’m abroad and do not have my “own” phone/data provider. Could it be related to switching between providers?
I highly doubt it, but to isolate the issue, enable the modem hardware kill switch and see if that makes any difference.
I had the same problem tonight. The screen stopped turning on by itself when I stopped the “suspend mode”. And later, I turned “suspend mode” back on and the problem with the screen didn’t come back.
Do you have Waydroid installed? It will bring back L5 from suspend periodically.
