My wifi randomly disconnects and is no longer recognizable as a piece of hardware by the OS.
Background:
- I’ve had the librem 13v2 for about a year now and this is a recent development within the past month.
- I have not looked under the hood of the machine yet.
- I have seen reports of this possibly being a driver-linux issue on other non-purism machines.
- I found the following instruction online:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install linux-backports-modules-karmic
#Restart your computer one more time, and you should be good to go!
Is there an analogous command for PureOS? Does this sound like a hardware or software issue? I have not seen any other posts in the forums describing this problem.
I’m not really sure where to go from here as far as delivering information that would be helpful for troubleshooting.
