Wifi not connecting with pure os installed on a macbook air

The wifi is not showing up on my macbook air while running pure os. Are there any solutions?

PureOS only comes with free and open source software by default, so in general won’t work on hardware that requires proprietary drivers. You could look to see if you can find the right drivers to download, but they won’t be in the default PureOS repos.

Yes you’ll probably have to install the drivers manually.

run dmesg and take a look at which wi-fi drivers are missing. Then download them manually and install them in /lib/firmware/

That shoud do the trick.

I had a 2015 MacBook Air; I always had to install broadcom-wl / broadcom-wl-dkms, but I used Arch Linux on my MacBook Air, not PureOS.
