Your Private Data - The Fastest Growing Stock Out There

For those who want to double your money quickly, I have a good stock tip for you. It’s about your own private data. The fastest growing stock right now is Palantir Technologies (PLTR). Whereas Nvidia is currently growing at a paltry 69% in 2025, Palantir is at 109% for 2025. I couldn’t find a faster growing stock out there.

Palantir specializes in large scale data analytics and the software to give them those analytics. Their customers are large corporations and various governments who want to use your data (which they call their data), to know more about you and me and everything else on the planet, using the data that they’ve harvested from us.

So here is the moral delema. These guys are the anthesis of what I hate about big data and surveilance capitalism. At the same time, I wouldn’t mind making an investment in something that doubles in short periods of time and that has no end in sight when it comes to overall growth. It doesn’t matter who the president is or what else the economy is doing, surveilance capitalism is not going away. Neither is the need to process all of that data to answer the questions that the power brokers in society want answers to. And we’re not talking about surveys. We’re talking about the real flows of money and what interests the average person based on their private (not so private) web browsing habits.

So, do we invest in everything we wish would not exist in exchange for an almost guaranteed high return on our investment? Or do we make more speculative investments in companies that carry more risk, but that actually do good things for society? Admittedly, Nvidia and Broadcom are more about the growth of AI. But at least their high returns are still not directly devoted to spying, while also possibly doing good things. One could also invest in much lower returns or even losses (such as electric vehicles) right now if they only want to feel good while losing or not making money. How should we align our value system with actually making money? PLTR at over a 100% return is quite tempting right now.
