Android 15 design language vs Phosh

De-googled Android doesn’t mean much unless there is a de-googled internet.

At least on personal level you can degoogle your Internet (mostly). And whoever is using a degoogled Android will also be able to degoogle the Internet with NoScript and alternatives to Google services.

I don’t even have an Android device to copy from  . We’re working from the designs linked in the Wiki and then try to figure out what works best with the input capabilities of touch devices and the technical constraints and possibilities. We’re way more often told that we’re doing it wrong because we’re not doing it like Android than the other way around  .

Haha, exactly a feedback I also got when I created my mockups. But it highly depends on the person who is giving feedback.

I saw that Phosh(android) v54 enable icons notification, if so Phosh will looks more and more like Android UI UX.

We knew that passing Phosh to the Gnome repos would cause a disaster to phosh ui-ux and they did.

Phosh is Not WONDERFULL anymore…

Have you considered just writing your own interface?

You dont fool me, but coincidences exists.

Yes i have considered, however it will take huge time to breakdown all, and i use all my time for immortality, i am tired as people die every day like dogs-and-cats.

After you achieve it, you’ll have plenty of time to design your own mobile UI, then. :crossed_fingers:

As long as no design choices are inspired from Windows, I’m fine with overlaps from other design languages personally..
