I don’t trust apple, so I don’t trust they will delay anything. No way to verify either way.

Even if Apple cancels their plans entirely, it doesn’t help much now, because the governments of the world know that the functionality exists, and can be implemented if they create “legislation” to require Apple (or other OEMs) to do it.
