BYD touchpad detected as regular mouse

JDL, for Qubes try with libinput driver (remove synaptics) and follow instructions from here:

BYD touchpad - tap to click

Under Settings > Touchpad I have Tap to click enabled but it does not seem to be working. What else should I do to get it to work?
