I did not expect to see “sourceID=Mozilla-search” being passed to Wikipedia. I like Wikipedia and have edited many articles, but I’m not even logged in. I guess it doesn’t really matter, because any website can find out what browser I am using from the the user agent (or fingerprinting if that is spoofed).

OMG Firefox work/feel extremely fast on powerpc. But also enable massive websites support and experience under ppc, including purism forum, which i am typing now.
This milestone also enable motorola,freescale powerpc superpower browser experience! which i on testing…

Enabled webgpu and webrender via freesoftware gtx750 nvk,zink for power, it work! as making zero lags experience on ppc.

Ladybird browser is the future to escape from google. Mozilla is already TRAPPED by opensource and google.
Despite the Ladybird goodness is cant by compiled by debian stable thanks to multiplatform and rolling opensource oses.

I think it is a runtime dep now for firefox, nodejs cant be disable as before. Even worse V8 do not support power4 o power5 on my test to compile new-port-firefox for power4,5,6,7
Then why V8 is mandatory via nodejs?
I think Firefox started using google v8.

node.js depends on V8. Node.js is used as part of the compilation process
of firefox (e.g. trans-compiling .scss into .css, etc.). V8 is not part of the
firefox binary … but there is a compile-time dependence.
If part of a build script used meson … you wouldn’t say that firefox includes meson. It’s just a tool in the build process.

Ok so Firefox it using nodejs to build firefox-devtools only, so a.t.m firefox still do not using google v8 engine.
However there is not a flag to disable devtools in order to disable nodejs due to google evilness.
