Talking shipping parity is a slippery slope, since the more they are late, the more orders there will be, causing a vicious cycle. Let’s focus instead on the date all pre-orders will be fulfilled, since this does not depend on new orders.

Is that still the case for orders placed 27 days ago? Clearly not. This delay deserves an explanation to customers. I specifically bought the L14 after the pre-order period ended because I didn’t want to wait that long. But Purism doesn’t seem to care and they treat the actual orders just like any pre-order, with no real engagement on shipping date.
Scratch that, the delay is going to be longer than 1 month. And I’m not even sure they care enough about their customers to actually announce the delay, they will just quietly push the shipping parity date further and further away hoping the loudest critics who pre-ordered on the first month will already be satisfied.
