I definitely want to track any outstanding refund requests and have absolutely no desire to delete objective and non-threatening posts from the community. Having said that, I’m not an authority on this topic and cannot guarantee anything myself. I’m unsure why you haven’t received a reply from support about the status of your refund. I’d recommend trying again and, if you don’t receive a response, send me a private message and I can try to investigate your particular order.
As a first-time poster, @raas may be prevented by the Discourse forum software from sending a private message.
I verified that @raas does have the ability to send private messages (TL1 minimum) but you’re right. New users (TL0) will not be able to do this right away to guard against spam.
@raas Put your order up for sale. It’s a cheaper option than buying a new phone.
First poster did this before he suddenly left.

You opted for the “Fir” batch, ie. the v2 of the phone, instead of the current one (what we are shipping now). The “Fir” is not available yet, it is planned for some time later. You can continue to wait or have the current version shipped, just let us know. I’m afraid refund is not an option, please see the explanation here:
It’s completely irrelevant what some FAQ from 2023 says. It’s the policies at the time of purchase that matter and they clearly said:
If, for any reason, you want to cancel your order before it was shipped, we will issue a full refund.
Above that, there’s also federal rules like the FTC mail order rule, which enforce that when you can’t ship a (pre)order on time, the customer must get the chance to consent to the delay and get the option for a full and prompt refund.
Maybe reminding them of that helps.
