I’d love to get some new data on production from Purism: phones shipped per week for the last month, future expected shipping rate, and current production potential(based on current parts inventory).
Watching this forum makes me think the rate is one per week…
That level of granular detail has been asked for before and Purisms stance historically has been they will not disclose information like that which could be used to calculate nor infer sales numbers. I’m sure search or creating a thread for that topic would turn up multiple examples of this that I do not have readily available.

Everything looks good, accessories seem heavy and high quality. There are some minor scuffs on the battery but only the worst OCD sufferers would care about that.
When trying to set up the time/date, the modal window close button was off screen. The point is that the UI is a work in progress.
The hardware and software compares favorably to the PinePhone of a couple years ago.
Haven’t tried inserting a SIM card and making a call yet.

There must have been a conciderable peak in orders toward the end of January 2019, and huge slump after that date.
If I remember correctly at that point they were still promising to ship phones starting in April 2019. That was one of the reasons I ordered then. Sometime around that they significantly delayed their schedule and pushed shipping estimates out by several months or a year. It was pre-covid and I think it had to do with a change in what processor they were going to use, IMX8 versus IMX6, or something like that.

Maybe Santa is a privacy advocate, although come to think of it, like Big Tech, he does just come into your house uninvited.
January 2019 was a month with a high number of orders. As for the rest we are working on speeding up the shipping process at this moment. Cannot guarantee that we will maintain the pace as there are several factors. Inventory, parts like modems and wifi cards, other factors.
