Is it difficult to repair the Librem 5 screen?

Hello everyone!

My screen on the Librem 5 is cracked—is this something anyone, without tech repair experience, can repair at home? Or does it require specialized instructions/tools?

Is it easy to damage the device?

Thank you all so much for any help!

And there is always the option that you can get the spare screen from Purism and decide take it to a repair shop - if you don’t want to do it yourself after all.

recommendations:
use a clear desk with sufficient space
use the correct tools, which don’t have to be expensive
take your time
have sufficient pots to put the dissassembled stuff in
Use the guide and read it some times
see what people wrote on other threads
It’s doable

It isn’t very hard as long as you follow the instructions.
