Does anyone know a good small GUI app that works well in L5 - or need a little programming project? I’m getting a bit annoyed having to create manually desktop launchers (aka, create .desktop file with an icon and just some terminal commands, not even really scipts, to do/launch stuff). Any suggestions? Extra internetpoints if there’s a possibility for some kind of batch creation (setting up several, based on a txt file, which would help when doing new installs)

No, I haven’t. Thanks. I’ll take a peek, but it’s not for appimages that I’m looking for this.

Might give you some ideas on how to craft your own. Wonder what would happen if you plugged that script into AI, then asked it to customize it for your own goals and needs.

You might try alacarte or menulibre. I have used alacarte before on my L5, I forget but I believe it required some screen scaling.
Both are in the Crimson repos.
I don’t know if either allow for batch/automation.
