Ive got a Librem 15 which does not seem to have had any updates for many moons and im getting issues with firefox browser not operating with links in various places.
Will the new upcoming software release be applicable to my model ?

sudo apt clean, i guess fix it too, but i untested if work.
Starting point … post output from lsb_release -c
rm: cannot remove ‘/var/lib/apt/lists/auxfiles’: Is a directory
rm: cannot remove ‘/var/lib/apt/lists/partial’: Is a directory
That should be okay to leave those directories.
Now, in the same terminal session, run sudo apt update; sudo apt full-upgrade to upgrade your system.
