Hey,
I like the composition of the Lapdock Kit! Sadly the kit is not worth for European customers due to the taxes =(
For a while I followed these topics here in the forums:
Another update. I decided to do a battery test in this Nexdock similar to the X Mini, because I noticed yesterday that it seemed like the battery drained pretty fast. Sure enough, I just had my Librem 5 docked and left it idle with a stopwatch running. After 50 minutes the Nexdock battery is at 50%. Of course my Librem 5 is still at 100% battery, but this points to less than 2 hours of use with cellular and wifi on.
I finally got my L5 so I can dock successfully and have a few suggestions that might be helpful. First I gave a hub with good reviews a try and luckily everything works. It’s a Mokin 9in1 MOUC0505B. Got on -g m-a-zon for a moderate price. The HDMI cable works, my wired usb keyboard, mouse and storage devices work and it powers and charges via the included purism usb-c power plug. The wired RJ45 works to but the L5 sees it as a USB ethernet…for a heads-up

Just got a Nexdock360, too. I bought it as a replacement for my secondary screen, which is larger, needs some extra keyboard and a lot of space and cabelling, as a front end for small devices.
My very first impressions are:
small and light, looks and feels good
for a 13.3" device it has pretty large keys, same size as a normal keyboard.
glare display (!)
connection with Librem5 was smooth and simple
Unfortunately, there are some features, that do not yet work out of the box here at all, yet: …
In the post Purism write that charging the Librem5 is no problem and the kit can be used productive. What about the heat, power consumption nowadays? Are there some improvements in the kernel or so? Some current live posts from other users would be helpful.
