It seems that on my L5 the file /var/log/syslog is not turning:
# ls -l /var/log/syslo*
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 748340931 Jan 20 11:54 /var/log/syslog
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 5623316 Jan 15 00:00 /var/log/syslog.1
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 596357 Jan 8 00:00 /var/log/syslog.2.gz
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 913487 Jan 1 00:00 /var/log/syslog.3.gz
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 785015 Dec 25 00:00 /var/log/syslog.4.gz
# gzip -c /var/log/syslog | wc -c
3260689
How is this turnaround organized?
UPDATE:
The rotating works fine once per week. The problem is that millipixel
was spamming the logs with 7 million of lines, see this post: Camera (Dev Preview) app crashing
