Hello!
I am using the default stable version of pureos for librem 5 and still suffering modem data disconnections…
But I see the issue resolved: Modem usb periodic disconnects/resets (#303) · Issues · Librem5 / linux · GitLab. There is a way to solve this or not yet?
Hi, thank for come back!
This is a known issue, still not resolved formally. Purism has Tracked the bug.
Thats for modem disconnect bug, not data disconnect from qmi driver.
There is a hack for but for some weird reason mms failed.
On my Librem 5, I have very unstable WWAN connection. I configured the APN (sipgate in my case). It usually works for maybe one minute after startup or turning the WWAN on by hardware switch, but then it stops sending or receiving data, the 4G icon sometimes disappears.
Does this sound like the issue mentioned here?
Yes, same happens to me
Maybe you are seeing this issue:
So where can I download the package to solve? Is this patched in the system update or the bug is still hanging there? Thanks.
Strange: Since some updates, I’ve had very stable internet connection and assumed the problem to be solved. But since maybe one week, possibly the latest update, I have again no internet on 4G/mobile data. I did
cat /sys/devices/platform/soc@0/38200000.usb/xhci-hcd.4.auto/usb1/1-1/1-1.2/power/autosuspend_delay_ms
and it returned 500, like in the beginning. I set it to 5000, but after each reboot, it now gets reset to 500 and I have no internet without WLAN.
Someone else having this problem?
Setting this value to 5000 isn’t fixing the connection anymore. I’ve made it with a cron job, but the internet is still not working. Sometimes for a minute, but not reliably.
The only thing I changed was the installing and failed rooting of Waydroid.
Ok, @FranklyFlawless do you still need the mod of autosuspend_delay_ms?
I have never had any issues with the modem, so I never needed any mods to begin with.
Which version do you use?
I did the other setup this time, adjusting power so that it doesn’t sleep.
Do you have a link or explanation?
One moment I think I have the thread saved
I believe I used this method.
