I wish it was two short, identical swipes. Unfortunately, that first swipe is uncomfortably looooong. Very inconvenient, especially when driving. Of course, still a huge improvement!
Thank you @amarok The problem with a shortcut is that when in the sun here in Greece, there is no hope you can see the shortcut to click on it. Maybe the icons you created are visible but you have first to unlock the screen! This is why the auto-switch is important. In any case I will try temporarily your solution until an auto way is implemented.
At the moment that swipe does not take movement velocity into account when calculating (un)folding threshold, so you have to make it pass a certain point of the screen before releasing your finger (IIIRC it was something like 1/3 or 1/4 of the whole length). This is going to be changed in future.
Auto-contrast has arrived: New Post: Auto Contrast on Librem 5 smartphones
Go into the light!
Yes!! I will check it today in the sun. Thanks.
I checked it yesterday in the sun. Very nice. It works great! If only we had suspend available… It still gets very warm in the summer temperatures of Greece.
By the way the last update brought in some packages with the name …-katex
Where is katex used? Is it something relating to katex.org or something else?
Packages like: https://packages.debian.org/sid/libjs-katex ?
Probably you want something like: sudo dpkg-query --list | grep katex
to confirm the package name.
Yes this is the one I saw. libjs-katex.
