So, I have two linphone accounts and they connect between my iOS phone and Fedora laptop.
When I add the details in the call app or L5 it just does not work. Nothing happens.
Any advice?

Switch to PostmarketOS.
Does the extension show that it’s “registered” in your Linphone (or your VOIP) account?
Any advice on how??
Not sure about what you’re asking.
the call app has a place to enter the sip (linphone) account details
after entering the details there is a section with all the VoIP Accounts, next to each there is a toggle and it just does not toggle to on - it returns to default gray state.
For instance, if your VOIP provider were Callcentric, and you’re using Linphone as a client, then after entering the VOIP account info into the Linphone app (e.g. like so), in your Callcentric account you would see the device/number as “registered.” (Meaning successfully set up.)
Step 1: Put device into flash mode: Reflashing PureOS - Purism user documentation Also, read through the reflashing instructions as they do a better job of explaining the process. Ultimately, you are simply following those instruction and, instead of installing PureOS, you will be running the script to install PostmarketOS.
Step 2: Download your chosen version of PostmarketOS here: v25.12/purism-librem5 - postmarketOS // Official Images
Step 3: Download librem5-flash-image using this link as provided in the above Reflashing instructions:
Step 4: In a terminal, open it in your downloaded Librem5-flash-image folder. E.g.
cd ~/Librem5-flash-image
Step 5: Place your downloaded PostmarketOS image into the Librem5-flash-image folder. Change the name to something short like: postos.img. (This is not required but I find it much easier).
Step 6: run the following script:
librem5-flash-image postos.img
Alternatively, Loki recommends this command in the terminal:
librem5-flash-image --dir . --skip-flash --skip-cleanup --image 20250919-0754-postmarketOS-v25.06-plasma-mobile-5-purism-librem5.img
However, I did not find it necessary to issue all of those commands. Read Loki’s posts in that forum post for more information.
Thank you for this.
I use the stable release and Phosh. I have no experience with the other flavors. I do not like KDE very much and when I tried it a very long time ago I found it to be clunky, and a bit unresponsive.
I hope your VOIP problems are better with PostmarketOS. I am very pleased with the Calls application and using the XMPP protocol through the Calls application.
