FYI in case you didn’t hear, Briar is in maintenance mode now. Zerion Chat appears to be a continuation based on it…

I was wondering years ago when they reached out over a mixed satcom down and a sneakernet uplink modes and decided to drop the consideration as getting too ‘James Bond’ would cause Briar to get banned in some countries.
It is too bad that Briar is stumbling, and Zerion has not yet released a Linux aimed client but qtox works on the Librem5-Pureos Crimson.
Ay, this needs a feature request to get it natively to linux phones (deb and/or flat for arm64)
