Update! Ironically, after all this time I had to request a week’s delay in shipping because I was going to be away on vacation.
So: L14 shipped on 9 July 2021, received on 16 July. Those dates would have been about a week earlier had I not requested the delay.

I am uncertain how best to share this with the Purism staff but you may want to be aware that by the time my laptop arrives, it will have taken 2 weeks to go from California to Alaska. You may wish to compare that travel time with other deliveries and do a price to performance comparison.
I am personally dissatisfied with FedEx and will be directing my firm away from using them because I do not want our customers to go through what I have gone through them in terms of losing the package location, delays, and generally poor customer service.
Each makes their own choices and I do not wish you to make the same choices I did per se - just be aware that they have done a very poor job on transport so far.
@Kyle_Rankin just so someone at Purism is aware.
FedEx is terrible. My wife and I groan whenever something gets shipped by them. Half the time they go through the rest of the united states for a couple weeks and/or sit in a warehouse in a nearby city for another week. Last few times I’ve called them and asked WTF they were doing they reply with, I shit you not, “We have a lot of packages to ship”. lol

Still nothing in terms of shipping confirmation. It’s taken so long that I ended up moving at the end of June and had to contact them to get my shipping location updated. I was told when that exchange happened that my unit was shipping soon but that was the beginning of July and here we are at the end and… nothing.

@dpr Hmmm… what were your specs? I ordered a maxed-out one with anti-interdiction on May, 1st 2021 so maybe I just might actually see it by August.

Did you receive the address confirmation email yet? Its probably the anti-interdiction that is slowing down your order.
The only email I’ve received is a reply to my inquiry on 30 June of when to expect my delivery since they missed the advertised by June delivery. Their reply was mid-August.

Mine was shipped in 3 months, and there was a huge backlog to go before mine. I believe 6 weeks is a reasonable estimate now.

I’m happy to report, that I got my Librem 14 (64GB RAM, 2TB NVMe, Qubes OS, PureBoot Bundle Plus + Anti-interdiction services) shipping address confirmation email today (7/26/21) based upon my 5/1/21 order!
