They run their own independent network in a limited geographic area of the US, so they’re not an MVNO, but see this for more info: https://bestmvno.com/mvnos/us-cellular/
I just checked my IMEI and it works fine for me. Is it possible it’s a browser issue? Are you using NoScript and maybe forgot to allow the necessary items to run?
By the way, @everybody, in case you’re wondering, only T-mobile’s IMEI checker approves my BM818-A1; none of the others do.

No, I even turned off the ad blocker.
But just now, I deleted cookies for all t-mobile related domains, and then it did work. I guess they have buggy cookies.
Even if the librem phone is compatible with Verizon it still WILL NOT work for phone calls. Only when or I guess if purism gets it registered for volte (or even gets volte working in general for that matter) will it work. Texting probably won’t work either. Sorry if I sound aggressive, I have just seen way too many people who blindly believe that if the lte bands match, then the phone will automatically work on Verizon. Verizon is an *sshat when it comes to phones that they can’t inject and malwareise with their bloatware.

Or when Broadmobi does, actually, since it’s the modem that has to be tested and certified, if it hasn’t been already. (It apparently hasbeen with T-mobile.)
I have a Librem 5 USA, which also has the BM818-A1 modem, so maybe your phone was grandfathered in and they disallowed any new ones connecting to their network?
I was able to get to an IMEI check on the AT&T website through Let's identify your device - you just select a plan first then enter the IMEI. The one I put in for my L5 USA is definitely not supported.
